Some serious high praise from the group at Whowhatwear.com with their “Top 5 Sunglasses” picks.
Yup, At number #1, Benjamin Eyewear’s ” Cindy” frame.
Also rounding out the list, literally, some killer ovals from Ralph Lauren, & Lanvin, the always funky Karen Walker and some fifties style from AJ Morgan.
A big thank you to WhoWhatWear!

From the article…
1. Benjamin Eyewear Cindy Sunglasses ($325)
Of all the styles we pulled for today’s story, the Cindy Sunglasses from Benjamin Eyewear topped everyone’s list. Modeled by our resident stylist, Angela, these oversized black frames are incredibly flattering on a range of face shapes. They were inspired by two excellent references: the sunglass-clad ladies in Patrick Nagel’s iconic, eighties lithographs and classic Italian frames from the sixties. The results are truly amazing and are sure to add a glamorous oomph to any outfit—no wonder Gwyneth Paltrow purchased this exact pair just last week!
The very talented, Tyler William Parker got us pumped up for prom night with his latest series of photos. Alright so we are probably done with proms, but that doesnt mean your Benjamin Eyewear couldnt be rocking out with a sweet boutonnierie.
It started a year ago while surfing flickr and loving all the amazing photographers around the world. I found Spanish photographer, Igor Termenon’s portfolio and I was blown away instantly with the raw beauty and mood of his images. There is no pretention in his work, just something uniquely fashionable and real. Maybe they remind me of a more innocent American Apparel ad. Well, funny enough he did some work for American Apparel.
We traded a few emails and ideas, he moved to Glasgow for school and finally we got organized.
So just the other day i get a package in the mail(or An email with attachment). They were here!!! Igor Termenon dropped some beautiful photos on us. We could hardley contain ourselves when we got the link with all its Hi Res glory.
Together with Benjamin Eyewear’s new “Cindy” frame and the “Model 001″ that Lupe has been sporting.
Here they are(also seen on the store front):
Thanks to Model Raphael Vauconsant and especially Photographer Igor Termenon
Every now and then a few designs of the new season could be considered more art than fashion, something a little more sci-fi movie meets Armor wing at the National History museum. This trailer from Gareth Pugh represents the “Art” of fashion. His amazing clothes take on a complete alien life of their own. The English born designer has been described as fashion as performance art.
I especially loved the jacket at 4:22 mins into the spot.

NYMag’s the Cut spotted Michael H on the steets of NY and gathered a little intel on the designers latest style. Vintage Ray Bans with red lenses and an all around “Punk Couture.”

Straight from New York Fashion Week Style.com picked up on another eyewear trend? This time they had Benjamin’s “Cindy” frame as their “Who knew four eyes could be so sexy” category. This is not an actual category, but it definitely caught some nods amidst an amazing fashion week.
Quote of all quotes:
“They’ve kind of 70’s detective and early 80’s working girl (like the chick in the best Cinderella screenplay ever The Secret of My Succe$s, but I digress).”
Not exactly what we were going to say…but we’ll take it.

The BENJAMIN 001 seems to be the piece of the moment, Thanks to Lupe Fiasco. Lupe wore them while attending the Grammys all done up, which looked great. They obviously work with a casual approach as well. You can’t go wrong here.
